Architecture Study – Detail & Texture
Klagenfurt doesn’t mind the rain. In fact, it wears it well. Streets shimmer with reflections, umbrellas bloom like petals, and the marble details — usually quiet — glisten with new life.
I wandered with soaked shoes and a camera, drawn to textures more than scenes. Water streaked down statues, pooled in carvings, and turned every step into a soft echo.
At the heart of it all, the Lindwurm stood steady — part guardian, part ghost of myth, completely unfazed. Raindrops traced the curves of his scales, while tourists passed with wide eyes and fast steps.
These weren’t postcard moments. They were quieter, colder, and somehow deeper.
The kind of beauty you only find when you’re okay with getting a little wet.
